What green paint for the bedroom?
The green, whether soft or deeply intense, offers a certain desire for escape and a feeling of serenity.
To find out which green paint will suit your bedroom best, I recommend bringing along different color samples. Once you have found your favorite green paints, buy samples and try them on large sheets.
Then, hang them directly on the walls you want to paint and watch how the green color evolves throughout the day. Natural light has a very strong impact on wall colors!
Light green and neutral tones
Light green pairs very well with neutral tones such as beige or off-white. The result: a soft, timeless, and refreshing atmosphere!
A dark green bedroom
In this bedroom designed as a cocoon, I really like the dark green painted walls, paired with a very colorful Berber rug.

Our tips for successfully decorating your sage green bedroom
- There are different shades of sage green, some more gray and others warmer. Choose the one that best harmonizes with your tastes and the rest of your decor.
- Use the sage green color to create an accent wall in the bedroom. Most often, this is the wall where the bed is located to create a well-defined headboard.
- Add accessories: cushions, curtains, rugs, vases, and artworks will find their place in your sage green bedroom decor. This allows you to add color without drastically transforming the space.
- Pair sage green with complementary colors or neutral shades to create visual balance. White, beige, gray, or natural wood can pair well with sage green. For more contrast, you can opt for mustard yellow, indigo blue, or powder pink.
