With a holistic approach to architecture and design, the Japanese brand Karimoku Case embodies a lifestyle that is among the most elegant, evoking the beauty of the Japandi style.
Discovering the universe of Karimoku Case and its collections that are both minimalist and strong in personality.
Karimoku Case, between elegance & timelessness
Karimoku Case is a contemporary design brand with a very long history. It all began in 1940 when Shohei Kato created his small carpentry workshop. A first line of wooden furniture was born 20 years later, and thanks to his experience and popularity, Karimoku became the leading wooden furniture manufacturer in Japan in 1972.
Far from the trends that quickly become tiresome, the brand advocates for elegant, timeless, and sustainable design that enhances our lives and daily routines. By working with artisans renowned for their unique craftsmanship and materials that age beautifully over time, the Karimoku Case collections offer an unprecedented experience between aesthetics and the art of living.
The following images were taken during the 3 days of design in Copenhagen. They perfectly represent the Japandi style, with its softness and personality. We find the latest collections from the brand showcased in a beautiful Scandinavian apartment.
Developed around different shades of beige, the decoration of this living room aims to be comforting, designed as a cocoon. An organic-shaped coffee table reigns, a true gathering place between sofas and armchairs.
On the other side, an elegantly designed desk promotes a graphic yet very chic aesthetic. The open shelves showcase a beautiful collection of objects.
