In this Haussmannian apartment located in the heart of Saint-Germain des Prés, the Camille Hermand Architectures agency has once again worked wonders.
More than just a simple renovation, the agency has restored style to this interior. The colors and materials highlight the existing volumes and moldings while modernizing them.

A living room that praises neutral tones
Like a cocoon of softness, the living room praises neutral tones and beautiful materials. The furniture comes in various shades of off-white, enhanced by occasional black or wooden accents.
However, a few touches of color appear here and there, notably on a vase and a pouf designed by Maison Sarah Lavoine.
Above the antique fireplace, a sublime trumeau mirrors the one that reigns in the dining room. True mirrors of each other, they reveal a bright and elegant atmosphere on one side; and a darker, more mysterious ambiance on the other.
Dark and muted ambiance in the dining room
Camille Hermand has a gift for perfectly mixing colors and materials. To highlight the high white ceilings, she chose to play the contrast card with a beautiful palette of dark colors. Thus, the walls of the dining room are adorned with a wonderful blue color. A bold choice that contrasts with the white and the herringbone parquet, a staple of Haussmannian style that adds a touch of luxury and elegance to the room.
A dark-colored hallway
Continuing from the dining room, the hallway is reimagined as a dark thread that connects the different spaces of this Haussmannian interior. Thanks to this intense blue with a strong personality, the hallway offers a soothing and sophisticated space.
To illuminate it in the evening, the iconic Atollo lamp watches over this passageway.

A master bedroom like a jewel box
Designed like a jewel box, the master bedroom also gets a new life thanks to custom storage enhanced by a stunning dark blue color. To dress the windows, Élitis fabric curtains bring strength and texture.
We love: the small desk set up between the bookshelves, perfect for optimizing the space. And the white Vertigo pendant light that decorates the ceiling gently.
Children’s rooms
Three children, three universes, and one common thread: color.
Each universe is based around a main shade: burgundy, duck blue, and rosewood. Thanks to these hues, the various custom arrangements are highlighted, forming true cocoons for the children.
Shelves, open niches, closed cabinets: these storage solutions have been designed to meet everyone’s needs.
A nearly custom kitchen
The kitchen, bathed in light, does not deviate from the rule: here too, color and custom storage have been adopted.
A deep blue decorates the lower cabinets and the immense full-height unit. Inside, there is a niche dressed in white marble, which is also found on the countertop.
In the center, a round light wood table allows the family to gather for breakfast.
